BLS Provider Classroom Initial or Renewal
Audience: For healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in hospital and out of hospital settings.The AHA’s BLS Provider Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.
Content / Modules: This course teaches basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings, with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics. The BLS Provider Course teaches rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants.

BLS Provider Skills Session
This course DOES NOT include the online portion of the HeartCode BLS course
This is an in person SKILLS ONLY class
The BLS Providers Skills Session (Parts 2 & 3) is for anyone who has taken and completed the American Heart Association HeartCode BLS online course and needs to do the hands-on skills portion of the course.
In Parts 2 and 3, students will demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS skills, including prioritizing chest compressions and integrating AED use. Successful completion of BLS for Healthcare Providers include three course parts:
Part 1, online portion-students should bring the certificate of completion as evidence of successful completion of the online portion.
Part 2, a hands-on skills practice session with our authorized AHA BLS Instructor.
Part 3, a skills test with our authorized AHA BLS Instructor.
A course completion card will be issued to successful participants same day.
